All software needs to be regularly updated. Computer operating system (Windows, OSX, etc) are continually updated to improve security and stability. The software that runs your website is no exception. It too needs to be kept up to date with the latest security and functionality updates.
Do It Yourself
You can. It could take a lot of education: some “Googling” and maybe a class or two – but, of course, it’s possible. If you have a business or non-profit to run, perhaps you can’t take the time to learn about software updates and security issues. In addition, you may not have the technical know-how to perform the updates, backups, and restores necessary to keep everything running smoothly. Yes, you can learn this – but make sure you dedicate the time.
What we offer
Depending on the Care Plan you select:
- We will ensure all code that runs your website is up to date and secure.
- We will run regular backups of everything (files, images, content, WordPress software, plugins.)
- We will perform monthly website maintenance & updates – code or content. ( e.g. modifying content, or a new page you supplied, adjusting menu items, uploading blog posts or images to a photo gallery).
- We will provide you with training videos to teach (or remind) you how to update your site on your own.
- We are an email or phone call away – or you can use our help desk to submit and track your support tickets.
- We also provide advice and strategy for your site, your social media marketing, or anything business related. If we can help, we will.
- We will work on your local SEO and build citations each monthly.
- Paid search campaigns to drive traffic.
